Dear Amy,
I am so bored with American Idol. When it gets down to this few and no one really interests me I find myself doing a whole lot of fast forwarding. I wish they would do an all Amy Grant week. I can just see it now, Syesha would sing “Like I love You” and little David “Lucky One”. Ahhh, now that sounds like a great week.
You would be their coach and you would be so encouraging and say things like “David, I love how you make songs your own, I do that, too.” And, “Ryan, I really think you should pursue another venue for your egotism” (oh wait, that’s what I would say)
Anyways, it would be great and at the beginning of the elimination show they would all come together and sing “For the Children of the World” or maybe that would be on the “Idol gives Back” show. It would be great and we would all feel better and be less bored.
