It’s funny to me that at the beginning of almost every summer the past few years I think it’s going to be such a lazy summer. There are never any huge plans and I always dream about laying around in the sun for hours on end. While I have gotten to do a little sun bathing here and there…it’s hardly been a lazy summer. But I guess having three kids under 5 doesn’t really allow for lazy anyways.
Right after the kids and I got back from my mom’s a few weeks ago, I drove down to Jackson, Missisippi to pick up my cousins two youngest boys. They stayed with us for a week. During the time they were here, we had a visit from Brady and Amber, which is always great. And then my cousin came back to get her boys and stayed with us through the weekend. Great time catching up with her.

After they left, we reset (think about 15 loads of laundry and cleaning the boys bathroom)…and got ready for our next houseguests. I’ll write about that in a few…got to put the kiddos to bed.

That reminds me: we just figured out last week that your house is almost a halfway point between here and Texas. You know what that means….no, I don’t either, but stay tuned…
