About Ashleigh

I am 34 year-old mother of four and wife of one, living in Midtown Memphis in the Annesdale-Snowden neighborhood.

We have four kids – Jac is 10, Charis is 8, Abigail is 7, and Jones is 6.  The two oldest are bio kids and the two youngest are adopted…I know, shocker.  Jones was adopted from Memphis in 2008 as a newborn and Abigail was adopted in 2010 from Ethiopia as a 3 year old.  They are all pretty amazing kids.

I have a BSA in Communications from the University of North Texas and a BSN from the University of Memphis.  I’m kind of an idiot so I decided to go back to Nursing School at 30 with four kids under 8.  Thank God for John Carroll and strong coffee.

I now work at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on the Solid Tumor unit.  I work 2 nights a week which is perfect for our little fam.  I love what I do and the kids that I serve.

I’m obsessed with any drink besides water.  This includes, but is not limited to: strong coffee, diet coke, hot tea, dark beer and red wine.

I should work out more, but I like Netflix too much.

  1. Hello Ashleigh! My family recently moved from Memphis to Murfreesboro. We are huge supporters of Fellowship Memphis.. but we never became members (long story). I attended three women’s retreats and after reading both your blog and your brother’s blog i wish hadn’t been a chicken and introduced myself to you sooner.
You are an amazing reflection of God’s goodness… good luck with the business and i hope it’s not too late for us to get to know each other.

  2. While this topic can be very difficult for most people, my belief is that there has to be a middle or common ground that we all can find. I do value that you’ve added pertinent and intelligent commentary here though. Very much thanks to you!
